She received the 1997 Mayor's Art Award for Outstanding Emerging Artist and a 1999 Artist Fellowship.  She is the author of two chapbooks, and her poems have been published in Controlled Burn, Gargoyle, Crab Orchard Review, Drumvoices, and The Asian Pacific American Journal.
