MAC OS, AI: `Story Board`. This is one of a series of visual icons that incorporate a variety of techniques, useful for reference. The little furry creature at the top is made from a feathered art brush for the legs, and the radial lines come from the roughen filter applied to a layered body. The shadow below is shifted to give black edging. The stick insect at the bottom is made by the elaborate manipulation of the arrow brush : parts are scissored and replaced and recolored, and gradient ovals are added to the form.
